Every account is tied to a verified phone number. No anonymous accounts. No bots. No throwaways. The block feels trusted because the block is trusted — every mom on it is a real person, signed up under a real number we can verify.
02Nickname-default identity
Your real name is hidden until you and another mom both check in at the same event in real life. Inside the app you appear as "Marina M." — a nickname, not a legal identity. You decide what's shared, and when. The real-name reveal is mutual, opt-in, and only happens after you've already met face-to-face.
03Anti-discrimination by design
Identity dimensions (heritage, faith, language, lifestyle) are opt-in, mom-curated, and used only to find your block — never to filter you out of one. When another mom narrows her event to a specific group, the app simply doesn't show it to people outside that group. We never tell anyone they were filtered out. Silence, not rejection.
04Host community guidelines
Mom Founders pass community guidelines and remain accountable to the moms they introduce. They commit to real venues, real times, and showing up. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancels cost hosting privileges. Severe breaches end the account.
05Reporting & moderation
One-tap report. Human review. Bad-faith actors removed. Block-level cohorts mean drama doesn't scale across the city — by design, a mom's account exists inside a small, real neighborhood, and a violation in one block doesn't echo into thousands of feeds. Repeat offenders are banned without a path back.
06What we never do
No ads. No data resale. No public profiles. No name reveal without your say-so. No filtering you on protected classes in ways the law forbids. No surfacing your home address. No background location. No selling to brokers, no training models on your DMs, no surprise terms changes without 14 days' notice.
